FolioBeyond and AdvisorShares have partnered on the management of the “AdvisorShares FolioBeyond Smart Core Bond ETF” (Ticker: FWDB). FWDB utilizes FolioBeyond’s institutional-quality quantitative portfolio-management process to produce a core-global bond strategy, that invests without selection bias, seeking investment results that exceed the price and yield performance of its benchmark, the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. FWDB utilizes FolioBeyond’s advanced asset allocation process which actively invests across 20-plus distinct bond classes that cover virtually all major sectors of the global investable Fixed Income universe. FWDB’s dynamic approach evaluates a multitude of factors including value measures, momentum, correlation effects and implied volatility levels to invest opportunistically and optimize risk management for its portfolio allocations.
S-Network Global Indexes, Inc., a publisher and developer of proprietary and custom indexes, has partnered with FolioBeyond to produce the “S-Network FolioBeyond Optimized Fixed Income Index (the “Index”)”. The construction of the Index utilizes FolioBeyond’s proprietary algorithms to create a highly investable investment benchmark for investment advisors, wealth managers and other types of asset managers to provide their clients with a core Fixed Income allocation that has historically outperformed its benchmark, the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. The Index components are adjusted on a daily basis to reflect the optimized exposure to the universe of Fixed Income sub-sectors that FolioBeyond has identified as essential to achieving broad risk diversification and investment efficiency at low cost. S-Network will deliver the index to its TAMP (Turnkey Asset Management Platform) relationships, which, in turn, provide the Index data to a large universe of asset management clients who subscribe to S-Network’s services through the TAMPs.
